UPS has updated its shipping API to use a new OAuth based authentication. To adapt to changes in UPS's API, DecoNetwork has introduced a new UPS shipping integration in version v8.607. This update is essential as the previous UPS integration relied on an old API that is being discontinued by UPS. To continue using UPS live shipping rate services without interruption, licensees currently utilizing the legacy integration must migrate to the new integration before June 2024. Below are the step-by-step instructions to guide you through the migration process.
Prerequisites
- You must have administrator access to use this feature
To migrate to the new UPS live shipping integration:
- Log into your DecoNetwork Website.
- Browse to Admin > Settings > Shipping.
- Select Shipping Methods.
A list of your configured shipping methods will appear in a list.
- Click the Manage Live Shipping Carriers button.
The Live Shipping Carriers page is displayed with a list of your currently added live shipping carriers.
- Click on the button.
The Add Live Shipping Carrier page is displayed showing the available live shipping carriers for your region.
- Click on the UPS tile.
- Click the Connect UPS button in the Details popup.
The Edit Live Shipping Carrier Credentials page is displayed.
- Enter your UPS account and press Connect to initiate an account login.
- Complete the UPS website login.
- Click Save.
You will be returned to the Live Shipping Carriers page with UPS added to the list of your currently added live shipping carriers.
- Click on the Choose Methods button for UPS.
The Edit Live Shipping Carrier Methods page is displayed.
- Tick the checkbox for each of the UPS shipping methods that you want to enable.
- When done, click the Save button
You will be returned to the Live Shipping Carriers page with the new UPS integration added to the list of your currently added live shipping carriers.
- Click on Delete Connection to delete the old integration.
