DecoNetwork's Website Editor is a powerful tool that allows you to customize your online store with a variety of widgets including product galleries, content displays, navigation elements, forms, social media integrations, interactive features such as buttons and search fields, and maps. These widgets can enhance the functionality and user experience of your site. However, there may be instances where you want certain widgets to be visible only under specific conditions or to particular users. This is where the Visibility Rules settings come into play.
The Visibility Rules settings in the Advanced tab of the settings popup allow you to set precise rules to control when and by whom a widget can be seen. This feature provides flexibility and ensures that your website displays the most relevant content to different users. For example, you might want to show a special promotional banner only to visitors from a particular state or display member-only content to logged-in users.
In this tutorial, we will guide you through the steps to configure these visibility rules.
To set the visibility rules for a widget:
- Mouse over the widget.
The widget's controls will be displayed.
- Click on the down arrow beside the widget icon.
- Choose the Settings item from the drop-down menu.
The widget Settings popup will be displayed.
- Click on the Advanced tab.
- Click on the VISIBILITY RULES row to expand the section.
