When selling products online through DecoNetwork, you may want to give customers the option to purchase blank products in addition to decorated ones. By default, the blank product display page only offers the Start Designing button, but with the right settings, you can enable an Add to Cart button for blank purchases. Prerequisites
- You must have admin access to your DecoNetwork account.
- Blank product purchase must be enabled at the system level.
- Each product must explicitly allow blank purchases to be eligible.
Why enable blank product purchases?
Not every customer wants decorated items. Some may want to buy blanks for resale, self-decoration, or personal use. Allowing blank product purchases gives you:
- Additional revenue opportunities by selling stock as-is
- Flexibility for customers who prefer plain products
- Control over which products can or cannot be purchased blank
Enable blank product purchase in system settings
- In Admin, go to Products → Blank Product Display.
- Set Allow blank product purchase to Yes.
- Click Save.

Enable the Add to Cart button on the blank product page
- In Admin, go to Products → Blank Product Display.
- Set Show add to cart button to Yes.
- (Optional) Enable Allow stores to customize this setting to give affiliates control.
- Click Save.

- In Admin → Products, select the product you want to edit.
- Go to General Settings.
- Set Allow blank purchase to Yes.
- Save your changes.

Even if global and page settings are enabled, a product cannot be purchased blank unless its own Allow blank purchase setting is turned on.
