- You must have Administrator access to your DecoNetwork account
- A custom decoration area category must already exist
- The category must not be required by active decoration areas (see troubleshooting)

How to delete a custom decoration area category
Step 1: Go to decoration area categories
- Log into your DecoNetwork Website
- Navigate to Admin → Products

Select Decoration Areas.

Step 2: Locate the custom category
- Find the custom category you want to remove
- Confirm it is not a system category (only custom categories can be deleted)
Step 3: Delete the category

Click the Delete button next to the category

If the category is still in use, deletion will be blocked until all associated decoration areas are removed. -
Review the confirmation prompt
Confirm deletion of the selected category
- Click OK to proceed
Step 4: Verify removal
- Ensure the category no longer appears in the list
- Confirm it is no longer selectable when configuring decoration areas
