The Sublimation decoration process in DecoNetwork lets you configure pricing and production behavior for sublimated products such as apparel, drinkware, plaques, puzzles, and other hard goods. While most Sublimation settings work well with the default configuration, correctly setting up price tables is essential because different types of sublimated products often require different pricing structures.
This article explains the recommended approach for configuring Sublimation, including using multiple price tables and assigning them to Product Groups for automatic pricing.

Prerequisites
- You must have Administrator access.
- The Sublimation decoration process must already be enabled.
- Your product groups should already be configured if you plan to use different pricing for different product types.
Why configure Sublimation?
Properly configuring the Sublimation decoration process allows you to:
- Apply appropriate pricing for different sublimated products.
- Automatically assign the correct pricing to products using Product Groups.
- Reduce manual pricing changes when adding new products.
- Maintain consistent pricing across apparel, drinkware, and other hard goods.
- Keep your decoration process simple by using the default production and designer settings where appropriate.
Step 1: Configure General Settings
- Go to Admin → Decoration Processes.
- Select Sublimation.
- Configure the general settings, including:
- Name
- Abbreviation
- Minimum order quantity
- Accepted artwork types
- Review the remaining configuration sections.
Because Sublimation is a straightforward digital printing process, the default settings for Production, Designer, Artwork, and Color Palette are suitable for most businesses. These settings can be customized if required, but many shops will not need to change them.

Step 2: Create Price Tables
The most important part of configuring Sublimation is creating appropriate price tables. Unlike some decoration methods, Sublimation commonly requires multiple price tables because different products often have different pricing models.
Examples include:
- Drinkware
- Apparel
- Plaques
- Puzzles
- Other hard goods
- Open the Price Tables section.
- Create separate price tables for each pricing model you require.
- Configure pricing appropriate to each product category.
For example, you might create:
- Sublimation Drinkware – Pricing for mugs, bottles, and similar products.
- Sublimation Hard Goods – Pricing for plaques, puzzles, and other sublimated items.
The names of price tables are for internal use only, so you can organize them in whatever way best suits your business.

Step 3: Assign Price Tables to Product Groups
After creating your price tables, assign each one to the appropriate Product Group so products automatically use the correct pricing.
- Go to Admin → Products → Product Groups.
- Select a Product Group.
- Assign the appropriate Sublimation price table.
- Repeat for each Product Group that uses Sublimation.
For example:
- Drinkware → Sublimation Drinkware price table.
- Accessories → Sublimation Hard Goods price table.
Once configured, products within each Product Group automatically inherit the correct Sublimation pricing without requiring manual selection.

Best Practices
- Create separate price tables whenever different product categories require different pricing.
- Use clear internal names for price tables to make administration easier.
- Assign price tables through Product Groups instead of manually selecting them for individual products.
- Review pricing periodically to ensure it reflects your production costs.
- Leave the default Production and Designer settings unless your workflow requires specific customization.
Troubleshooting
Products are using the wrong pricing
Verify that the correct Product Group is assigned to the product and that the Product Group is using the correct Sublimation price table.
I only have one price table
This is acceptable if all of your sublimated products use the same pricing model. Multiple price tables are only necessary when different product categories require different pricing.
Why isn't product color affecting pricing?
Sublimation is generally performed on white products, so pricing typically does not vary based on product color.
FAQs
Do I need multiple Sublimation price tables?
Not always. If all of your sublimated products use the same pricing model, a single price table is sufficient. Multiple tables are recommended when pricing differs between product categories.
Can I use artwork size for pricing?
Yes. Price tables can be configured to suit your pricing strategy, including artwork size where appropriate.
Can I customize the Production and Designer settings?
Yes. Although the default settings are suitable for most Sublimation workflows, every setting can be customized if your business has different requirements.
Are price table names visible to customers?
No. Price table names are for internal administration only.
