We do a lot of laser engraving and JDS is moreorless a powerhouse supplier similar to a Sanmar for promotional items. They offer laser engravables but lots of sign making supplies, sublimation, glassware, etc. It would be a great great great integration to have, especially with auto ordering.

  If it helped make it easier JDS has a full list of their products and pricing on a CSV (happy to send it, its updated yearly or with necessary price changes), they have all their product images on a FTP drive. It should be easy enough to have an automated process like a handful of the vendors to where the product list can be easily setup, but the mecca would be live ordering!

  I have verified that JDS also does have an API that tracks live inventory in both where and how much is in each location. I would think it wouldn't be too painful and this would be attractive to a new segment of customers. Im happy to help if Deco needed help with testing or anything.

  This would be AMAZING add to Deco. There are no good engraving software sites - having the JDS catalogue available to order online would be a great feature

  We agree wholeheartedly with the desire to offer JDS. Zach has spoken with them many times and, unfortunately, they are not interested.

  They have all the information to do it.... I have heard that their product spreadsheet is cumbersome and would take a lot of maneuvering to accomplish. They have provided the information. Just not in a way Deco team can sort. 

   

  I hope someday we can cherry pick from their catalogue since it is SO large and keeps growing. 

   

  It would be an amazing asset to Deco if you were to add it --- There are no engraving software programs available for awards/laser engrave products. Deco would have a leg up with other software programs.

  Hi Taylor,

  We fully agree and that's why Zach has been pursuing them time and time again. I'm in the midst of a project we hope will be useful in the meantime. I'm creating a 40-ish product catalog on non-branded hard goods items. It will not be tied to any vendor and contains no base pricing. The decoration views are all dynamic templates, so you can easily alter the available colors based on what your actual supplier offers. I'm hoping to get this published by Memorial Day. Zach will create a video walking through demonstrating how to utilize its capabilities in lieu of a branded vendor catalog.

  Thank you for all you do!!!

  I have talked with Zach about it many times and talked with our JDS rep as well. I believe it will all come together eventually -- It will just take time.
