Limit amount of designs per Decoration Area in Designer

I'd like to request a new feature that allows a stores prevent customers from layering/adding multiple designs in one decoration area. This prevents customers from being overcharged for multiple designs/processes that aren't necessary and potentially not possible. 

I understand pre-decorated designs are capable of preventing these issues, however, for our specific stores (and likely others' as well), we are trying to avoid having multiples of the exact same product with just a different logo on the left chest. We are essentially trying to avoid overcrowding our website with duplicate options when there should be the ability to select a shirt, select a single logo, and add to cart. 

This feature would prevent an "overstocked" website, reduce confusion, and create a simple ordering process.
