Schedule/ Calendared Estimated Production time
Under ConsiderationWhen using the schedule/calendared it is hard to know how long each job will take and what you have time for in a day. It would be a very useful for a data input or calculated number to state how long it will take to print an order. So you would have a time attached to each process to state how long you will need for that order.
This will make schedule the days/weeks/months easier. This would allow production manager to run the floor with more detail. It will also allow a shop to now know there turn around time at any given moment as long as the schedule is keep up to date.
I find it hard to use the schedule/calendared feature when it is just guessing.

If it would be possible to add production time for order. Now it is difficult fo us to use calendar when we don't know how long time each order will take. We have one piece one print orders and orders where is hundreds of prints. It is difficult when we have like 100 or more open orders and we want to know is our production fully booked for one or two weeks.
My thoughts..
1. Posibility to add production workers, how many hours and what days they work and what decoration processes they use.
2. Add time what one decoration/decoration process will take and system would than calculate how many decoration areas are used and how many products are in one order. Than we would automatically get estimated production time. Estimated production time should also be possible to manually adjust.
3. If products are in stock, order would be added to next free time on production calendar. If products need to be ordered, it would add product level days and add it to next free slot.

eg.
1 head embroidery machine (avg stiches per minute / setup / cleaning) book for personalization and individual orders
say we run at 700 stiches a minute - logo on file is 7000 stitches - approx time 10 minues
plus setup and cleaning - 10 minutes
total time for item 20 minuteswhen that job hits the embroidery production calendar - it takes a 20 minute slot in the day's production time
only so many jobs can be run on that machine, that you can't overbook that machine on the production calendarthe same would be for an 8-head machine or multiple machines
there is an alottted hours per day/per machine that you can't over book a machine for a due date, that you have to book a different day, when sales person quotes, they have to pick another due dateand the production manager can properly schedule each job to the machine needed, and see the free time available per machine to move jobs around efficently so jobs are done in a timely manor
this can also be adjusted for the screen print calendar, dtf, dtg, laser engraving
