Mark as 'New' or 'Sale'

Would be great if on an individual product basis we could tick a box to mark a product as new (even better if there was an expiry option too), or 'On Sale' with old / new pricing. 

We could then set up a category front end that pulled in all 'New' products and pushed them front and centre - sale products could be displayed the in a 'sale' category or just with a 'sale' overlay ontop of the images through out the site.

  I agree,
  Getting an exstensive badge option would be really good for all the products.
  As this would give information quickly to the customer in a good way that results into more orders coming through.
