Create Username Using Email only

We are running into too many problems with customers forgetting their username and having issues finding it again. It would make it so much easier if we can please force them to start using their email address as the username, only, so they never forget it. Please consider this.

  Agreed!  We need to allow user names to have the ability to use special characters and not be solely alpha numeric!

  Ed G there are no plans to allow email addresses to be the username for accounts but the next platform update due out soon (8.609) has a login via email option which allows the user to enter their email address and receive a link that will log them in.

  We need to have all of our customers use email address ONLY as the username.
