A product's retail price is determined by the pricing method se for the blank product and the pricing method set for any decorations that are added. These settings are applied globally to all products by default.
The blank product pricing method is set via Admin > Products > Supplier Product Markup. See the article, Supplier Product Markup, for specific details on configuring markups.
Decoration pricing methods are set via Admin > Decoration Processes > Decoration Pricing. See the article, Decoration Pricing, for specific details on configuring decoration pricing.
If you wish to apply a specific price configuration to a group of products, you can do this efficiently by configuring product groups. Product groups let you configure the properties of products that belong to specific groups. Properties you can configure include shipping, minimum quantity, pricing, and sizing, to name a few. See the article, Product Groups, for specific details on configuring product groups.
In order to configure product groups, you must first enable the Product Groups app in the Apps Store. The app is located in the Product Extensions section. In order for a product to use a particular product group setting, the specific product group must be selected in the General properties section of the product's configuration page. (Click change to change the Product Group used).
You have the further flexibility of overriding price settings at the product level if the global or product group setting is not suitable for particular products. Do this via Admin > Products > Manage > Edit Product > Pricing. See the article, Product Pricing, for specific details on configuring pricing for a particular product.
