Important: Important: DecoNetwork currently supports FedEx live shipping using FedEx SOAP Web Services. FedEx has announced that SOAP Web Services will be discontinued after June 1, 2026. As DecoNetwork does not support the newer FedEx REST APIs, FedEx live shipping integration will no longer function after this date. Current integrations may continue to operate prior to this deadline, however functionality is not guaranteed and may be unreliable.
This guide provides instructions for connecting with the FedEx shipping driver to allow your website to access real-time shipping rates directly from FedEx. This ensures that customers are provided with accurate shipping costs based on factors such as package weight, dimensions, shipping destination, and chosen service level.

Best-practice tips
- Plan to transition away from FedEx live shipping before June 1, 2026 to avoid disruption at checkout
- Test your checkout regularly, as rates may become inconsistent as the deprecation date approaches
- Communicate with your team about the upcoming change to ensure alternative shipping methods are prepared
- Consider integrating a third-party shipping platform (e.g., ShipStation) to maintain access to FedEx and other carriers
- Ensure fallback shipping methods (flat rate or table-based) are configured in case live rates fail
Troubleshooting
- FedEx rates intermittently missing at checkout: This may be due to instability in FedEx SOAP Web Services as they approach deprecation. Ensure you have backup shipping methods configured
- Connection test fails unexpectedly: Even valid credentials may fail as FedEx reduces support for SOAP services. Retesting may temporarily resolve the issue, but reliability is not guaranteed
- Previously working integration stops functioning: This is expected behavior as FedEx phases out SOAP services. Plan to replace the integration
- No shipping options returned: Confirm fallback shipping methods are enabled so customers can still complete checkout
