Can extra charges be automatically applied?
Extra charges that you define (via Admin > Settings > Extra Charges) are for use in Business Hub only and need to be manually applied. (See the Add extra charge help article for instructions on how to apply extra charges in Business Hub). These extra charges are not available in web stores. An alternative way to charge additional fees is to create custom fields that have an associated cost for blank products. For example, a custom field may be the choice of button color on a shirt for an additional cost. Custom fields defined for products can be automatically applied on websites when an order is placed. However, note that custom fields are applied per piece at the product level. (See the article, Using Custom Fields in Products, for more information on custom fields for products).
