Control which affiliate stores can (or cannot) connect to your DecoNetwork Fulfillment Center for Shopify order fulfillment. This setting lets you expose or hide the Fulfill Shopify Orders controls at the affiliate-store level so you can roll out the integration gradually, protect operational capacity, and align availability with geography or partnerships.

Prerequisites
- You’re signed in with administrative access to your DecoNetwork account.
- The Fulfill Shopify Orders app is installed and activated for your Fulfillment Center.
Why limit availability per affiliate store?
- Operational control: Roll out the Shopify integration to selected affiliates first to validate process and capacity.
- Error reduction: Prevent misconfiguration by hiding integration options from affiliates that shouldn’t connect yet.
- Cost & logistics: Align availability with shipping zones, tax/regulatory constraints, or strategic partnerships.
- Scalable governance: Keep a single DN FC but tailor which affiliates are eligible to connect to Shopify.
Step 1: Open the target affiliate store
- Log into your DecoNetwork website.
- Browse to Admin > Websites.
- Click on the Manage button beside the store you want to configure.
Step 2: Go to Shopify Options
- Inside the store’s admin menu, click Administration.
- Select Shopify Options.
The Shopify Options page is displayed.
Step 3: Choose an option for Expose Shopify Fulfillment
- Choose how the integration should appear for this affiliate store by selecting an option Expose Shopify Fulfillment dropdown list.
- Default: Select this option to use the default setting configured under Admin > Websites > Store Options > Shopify Settings.
- Yes: Select this option to explicitly expose the Shopify fulfillment feature in this affiliate store. The Fulfill Shopify Orders page becomes available in the store settings.
- No: Select this option to explicitly hide the Shopify fulfillment feature from this affiliate store. The Fulfill Shopify Orders page is removed from the store menu.
Tip: Use Default for most affiliates and override with Yes/No only where you need exceptions (e.g., pilot stores, special contracts, or restricted regions).
Step 4: Save and confirm
- Click Save.
- Ask the affiliate admin to refresh their store admin. They should now see (or no longer see) the Fulfill Shopify Orders page per your setting.
Heads-up: Changing visibility affects the store’s ability to access Shopify fulfillment configuration. Review any in-progress onboarding with that affiliate before switching to No.
Best-Practice Tips
- Pilot first: Enable Yes for a small set of trusted affiliates to validate workflow and training.
- Document criteria: Write down when an affiliate qualifies for access (volume, SLA, geography, etc.).
- Coordinate shipping & rates: Ensure Shopify shipping methods align with your DN setup before enabling.
- Audit quarterly: Revisit affiliates set to Yes to confirm they still meet your criteria.
Troubleshooting
- I can’t see “Shopify Options”. Confirm you’re inside the correct affiliate store (click Manage) and that you have admin permissions.
- The Expose dropdown isn’t there. Verify the Shopify fulfillment integration is installed/activated for your FC.
- Affiliate says they still see the menu after setting “No”. Ask them to refresh or sign out/in. Confirm you saved changes in the correct store.
FAQs
- What does “Default” actually use? It inherits the global setting under Admin → Websites → Store Options → Shopify Settings.
- Does setting “No” cancel existing orders? No. It controls menu visibility and access; order handling follows the current workflow and statuses already in DN.
- Can I bulk-set this for many affiliates? Yes. Use the global setting under Admin → Websites → Manage (Website) → Store Options → Shopify Settings to expose the feature to all stores. Individual stores can still override by choosing Yes/No instead of Default.
