Prerequisites
- DecoNetwork Admin access.
- Decide which decoration methods you will offer (e.g., Screen Printing, Embroidery, DTG/DTF, Sublimation).
- A basic pricing strategy for each method (e.g., by colors, stitches, or print area/size).
- Know your price levels (Retail/contract levels) if you plan to map tables to specific customers.
- (Optional) CSV files ready if you plan to import ink/thread color palettes.
Why Is This Important?
When customers or staff upload artwork or use the Online Designer, DecoNetwork automatically calculates decoration costs based on your configuration:
- Screen Printing – based on the number of colors.
- Embroidery – based on stitch count.
- Digital Methods (DTG, DTF, Sublimation) – based on print size.
Step 1: Access Decoration Processes
- In your Admin, go to Decoration Processes.
-
Enable or disable processes as needed.
Step 2: Configure General Settings
-
Click on a decoration process to access its General Settings. Here you can:
- Set minimum quantities.
- Define accepted file types.
- Set maximum number of colors (for screen printing or embroidery).
1 Minimum Quantity – Ensure every job meets your minimum price.
2 Max Colors – Limit complexity for certain processes.
3 File Types – Restrict uploads to supported formats.
Step 3: Create Price Tables
Price tables define how you charge for decoration. Depending on the method, you can select:
- Standard Pricing: Ignores area size.
- Area-Based Pricing: Pricing determined by size ranges of the decoration area.
- Per Square Inch Pricing: Charges by exact size.
Example Setup for DTG or DTF:
| Size Range | Example |
|---|---|
| Left Chest | Up to 4” x 4” (16 sq. in.) |
| Full Chest | Up to 12” x 12” (144 sq. in.) |
| Oversize Print | Above 144 sq. in. |
1 Rows – Define area size breaks.
2 Columns – Set quantity breaks (e.g., 1-4, 5-9).
3 Pricing Cells – Enter pricing for each size and quantity combination.
Step 4: Configure Method-Specific Rules
-
Embroidery: Rows represent stitch quantity breaks (e.g., last row = per additional 1,000 stitches).
-
Screen Printing: Counts number of colors and handles white underbase:
- Count as extra color
- Apply an extra fee
1 Max Colors – Set based on your press capability.
2 Underbase Options – Choose how underbase affects pricing.
Step 5: Set Up Color Palettes
For Screen Printing and Embroidery, configure stock ink and thread colors:
- Import palettes via CSV.
- Add or edit existing palettes.
- Enable/disable colors you offer.
1 Import CSV – Quickly upload your existing color list.
2 Add/Edit Palette – Add new or edit existing palettes
3 Enable/Disable Colors – Hide colors you don’t offer.
Step 6: Define Artwork Fees
- Screen Printing: Often $0 until artwork is reviewed.
- Embroidery: Apply digitizing fees for non-digitized artwork uploads.
1 Fee Amount – Set your default digitizing fee for embroidery.
Step 7: Assign Price Tables to Price Levels
Once your tables are ready:
- Go to Decoration Pricing.
-
Assign price tables to each decoration process and price level.
Price Levels:
- Define in Products Contract Price Levels.
- Default: Retail (Level 1).
- Assign specific customers to higher levels for contract pricing.
1 Default Price Level – Applies to all unless specified.
2 Contract Level Mapping – Link custom price tables to VIP customers.
3 Check this box – Ensures all placements of the same artwork count toward quantity pricing.

- Configure General Settings.
- Create Price Tables.
- Set up Color Palettes.
