Prerequisites
Before you begin:
- You must have the Administrator or Settings Manager role to access shipping settings.
- You need an Australia Post developer account.
- You must obtain a valid Australia Post PAC API Key.
- Your products should have accurate weights configured for reliable live rate calculations.

Connecting Australia Post to DecoNetwork allows your store to automatically retrieve live shipping estimates during checkout.

Step 1: Open Shipping settings
- Log into your DecoNetwork website.
- Browse to Admin → Settings → Shipping.

Step 2: Manage live shipping carriers

Click Manage Live Shipping Carriers.
The Live Shipping Carriers page is displayed showing a list of the live shipping carriers currently configured in your account.

Click Add Live Shipping Carrier.
The Add Live Shipping Carrier page displays the live shipping carriers available for your region.

Step 3: Add Australia Post as a live carrier
- Click the Australia Post tile.

Click Connect Australia Post in the Details popup that is displayed.

The Edit Live Shipping Carrier page will open.
Step 4: Enter your Australia Post API key

Enter your Australia Post PAC API Key into the PAC API Key field.

Note: DecoNetwork uses the Australia Post Postage Assessment Calculator (PAC) API to retrieve live shipping estimates.
Step 5: Test and save the connection

Click Test settings.
After clicking Test settings, DecoNetwork will verify that the PAC API key is valid and can successfully connect to Australia Post.
A successful connection message will appear if the API key is valid.
- Click OK.

Click Save.
You will return to the Live Shipping Carriers page with Australia Post added to your list of connected carriers.
Australia Post is now connected as a live shipping carrier.
Step 6: Choose Australia Post shipping methods

Click Choose Methods next to Australia Post.
Tip: The Choose Methods button only becomes available after the connection test is successful.The Edit Live Shipping Carrier Methods page is displayed.
Select the Australia Post shipping services you want to offer.
- Tick the checkbox beside each Australia Post service you want to make available.

Click Save.
The selected shipping methods will become available during checkout for applicable orders.
How to obtain your PAC API key
Australia Post provides API access through the Australia Post Developer Portal.
- Go to the Australia Post Developers website.
- Create or log into your Australia Post developer account.
- Create an application for the Postage Assessment Calculator (PAC) API.
- Copy the generated PAC API key.
- Return to DecoNetwork and enter the key into the PAC API Key field.
