Fix error with closing stock out
Under ConsiderationPlease stop allowing customers to order more than is in stock. I really don't know of any other site which does this. If you have 1 in stock the customer could add 100 line items with the same item and different designs and they can go through checkout. You get the error message in the order after they have paid for the items that are not available!!!. Another option is to display the qty available when they create the order against the size.

DecoNetwork Team
Hi Daren Wright. (c) there is a setting for which behavior to use when an item is out of stock. Right now you have that set to Do nothing, the alternate option is Do not allow adding to cart which seems like the option you would prefer. I've linked the relevant help article: https://help.deconetwork.com/hc/en-us/articles/115000388808-Configure-Inventory-Settings

Sorry Christopher
I contacted the support team and they said until the order is confirmed and paid they can order more of the closed out items on separate line items is this not correct?

Hi
This has been causing issues in the past, the item that is causing issues this time in TW413 has the GD02 Navy item closing out which means no stock is available but the customer has taken the 1 in stock and was able to order a second on the same order which we do not have and the supplier is out. The idea i thought was it would only allow them to order the remaining stock. this needs looking at as this causes disappointed customers.
Thanks Daren

Simon YunesHi Daren Wright!
Unfortunately, DecoNetwork doesn't know about the stock of an item in the supplier until the order is made. This means that as long as the item is listed it will be for sale, once the order reaches Business Hub and tries to order then it will know that there is no stock for it.
