Quotes often evolve throughout the sales process as customer requirements, supplier pricing, artwork, quantities, and production details change. The Edit Quote workflow allows you to update quote information while maintaining visibility into pricing overrides, locked pricing, and retained pricing behavior.
When product or supplier catalog pricing changes after a quote has been created, DecoNetwork retains the pricing instructions already associated with the existing quote or order line items. This helps preserve pricing continuity while also alerting operators when older pricing is still in use.
Understanding how quote editing, pricing overrides, locked pricing, and pricing warnings work together helps ensure accurate quoting, smoother approvals, and consistent downstream workflow progression into production and fulfillment.

FAQs
What does the Old Pricing in Use warning mean?
It means the quote or order line item is still using retained pricing from before the product pricing was updated in the catalog.
Will updating supplier pricing automatically change all existing quotes?
Existing quotes and orders can retain their original pricing depending on overrides and locked pricing settings. The warning helps identify when older pricing is still being used.
What happens if pricing is locked?
Locked pricing prevents future pricing configuration changes from automatically updating the line item pricing.
