Why add select stock designs to an affiliate store
Adding a curated set of stock designs helps you control what customers see for a specific affiliate store. It’s useful when you want to tailor artwork to a niche audience (e.g., school, club, event, workplace) without exposing your full stock library.
- Keep stores on-brand: only show relevant designs for that affiliate.
- Improve customer experience: fewer, more relevant choices are easier to browse.
- Support campaigns and promotions: quickly add themed designs for a limited time.
Step 1: Open the store in Websites
- Log in to your DecoNetwork Website.
- Browse to Admin → Websites.
-
Locate the store you want to configure and click Manage.

Step 2: Open Store Designs
-
Within the selected store, select Store Designs.

The Store Designs page is loaded in the work area.
Note: Store Designs are specific to the store you’re editing. Adding designs here does not automatically add them to other affiliate stores.
Step 3: Add stock designs to the store
- Click on the Upload Design button in the Breadcrumb and Actions Bar
-
Select Add Stock Designs.
The Add Stock Designs page is displayed.
-
Select the category you want to add designs from.
-
Select a category or enter a new name of the category you want selected stock designs to be added to in the affiliate store.
-
Select a background color that against which stock designs will be displayed.
If you choose "Auto," the system will automatically adjust the background color of the transparent area in stock designs for better visibility. It will display a dark background if the pixels at the edges of the design are light and a light background if the design pixels are dark.
Choose "Other" to specify a custom background color.
-
Tick the checkboxes of the stock designs that you want to add to the affiliate store.
-
Click Add.
If you have set your affiliate store to "Show both Store and Stock Designs" in the Design Listing on the Designs page, the added designs will appear twice in the design listing. To prevent this you should set the design listing to "Show Store Designs" only. Refer to the article "Turn off stock designs from an affiliate store" for instructions.
Best-practice tips
- Curate intentionally: add a smaller, relevant set of designs for each affiliate store to avoid overwhelming customers.
- Use consistent naming: choose clear design names so customers can search and recognize designs quickly.
- Organize by theme: keep designs aligned with the store’s audience (e.g., sports, school spirit, local event, workplace).
- Review periodically: remove seasonal or outdated designs after a campaign ends to keep the library clean.
Troubleshooting
I can’t see Store Designs
- Confirm you are editing a store under Admin → Websites → Manage.
- Check your user permissions (you may need administrator-level access to manage store settings/designs).
I don’t see “Add Stock Designs” under Upload Design
- Confirm there are stock designs available in your system’s stock design library.
- Check that your permissions include access to stock designs and store design management.
The designs were added, but customers can’t find them
- Verify you added the designs to the correct affiliate store (not a different store).
- If your site uses caching or theme-level customization, publish/refresh the store if required.
FAQs
Where do these designs appear for customers?
They appear on the Designs page and in the online Designer’s design/artwork library for that affiliate store.
Do these designs automatically apply to other affiliate stores?
No. Store Designs are managed per store. Add designs separately for each affiliate store that needs them.
Can I remove a stock design from the affiliate store later?
Yes. You can remove designs from the Store Designs area for that store if you no longer want customers to use them.
