Supplier catalogs are periodically updated by suppliers to reflect changes such as new products, discontinued items, revised colors, sizes, and SKU availability. Checking for and applying catalog updates helps keep your DecoNetwork product data aligned with the latest supplier-supported catalog information.

Why Check for Catalog Updates

Supplier catalog updates help ensure your products continue using current supplier-supported product data and SKU combinations.

Catalog updates act as retained business instructions that continue influencing storefront availability, ordering, and production workflows as supplier data changes over time.

Step 1: Open the Select Catalog Page

1. Log into your DecoNetwork Website.

2. Browse to Admin → Products.

   The Products sub-menu will be displayed. If catalog updates are available, a yellow spot will appear next to the Select Catalog menu item to indicate this.

   

3. Click on Select Catalog.

   

   

   The Select Catalog page will be displayed.

   

Step 2: Check for Available Updates

1. Review the supplier catalog list.

2. Check whether update notifications or update actions are displayed for any supplier catalogs.

   If catalog updates are available, a notice will appear below the Manage Catalogs information panel at the left. The notice will let you know how many products will be added and how many products will be removed after you save the page.

   

Step 3: Apply Catalog Updates

1. Click Save to apply the catalog updates.

   Applying catalog updates refreshes supplier-managed product data, including available sizes, colors, and SKU combinations.

   Applying catalog updates also validates supplier-supported size and color SKU combinations for existing products. If a supplier has discontinued a SKU and a configured default size/color combination is no longer valid, DecoNetwork automatically falls back to the first available valid SKU combination to help maintain valid product configurations.

   Supplier catalog updates may change available size/color combinations as suppliers discontinue or modify supported SKUs.

• Review key storefront products after applying large supplier updates.
• Avoid relying on uncommon size/color combinations as default variants where possible.
• Periodically review discontinued supplier products and unavailable variants.

Troubleshooting

Catalog updates are not appearing

Supplier updates may not always be available. Try checking again later or confirm that the supplier catalog is still enabled.

Default product variant changed after applying catalog updates

If the previously configured default size/color combination is no longer supported by the supplier catalog, DecoNetwork automatically selects the first available valid SKU combination during the update process.

Some product variants are missing after updates

Suppliers may discontinue individual size/color SKU combinations while keeping the main product active.

FAQs

Do catalog updates only affect newly imported products?

No. Catalog updates also apply to existing supplier-linked products already in your DecoNetwork system.

What happens if a supplier discontinues a SKU?

If the discontinued SKU affects the configured default size/color combination, DecoNetwork automatically falls back to the first available valid SKU combination.

Can supplier updates affect storefront products?

Yes. Supplier catalog updates can affect available colors, sizes, SKU combinations, and supported product variants displayed in storefronts and Business Hub.
